Source Reliance employs named user licensing. Seats of the software are purchased, and users are assigned a license seat. In order for a user to log into the system they must have an account set up in Source Reliance. Each user account occupies one seat of the license.
If you purchase 50 seats of Source Reliance, you are allowed to create 50 user accounts. If you delete a user account, its license seat is placed back into the pool of available seats from which you can create new user accounts.
Source Reliance licensing is managed by a license server. There can only be a single Source Reliance™ License Server installed in your environment and it can administer any number of users. Aside from that, there are no other restrictions placed on the system. You are allowed to install as many Connection Point and Data Servers, Client applications, and Administrator applications as you need. There is no limit on the number of databases or projects within those databases.
This means that the number of seats of Source Reliance you purchase does not have any bearing on the size of your data sets, the complexity of your server configurations, or the number of client applications you install in your environment. The number of licensed seats simply controls the number of users that are allowed to use the system.
You are allowed to install the software components wherever it is convenient. Often developers need access to the code base from multiple computers, such as a primary computer at their office and also from computers in the Quality Assurance area, or when working from home. You can install the Client application on all those computers. You may only be logged into the system from one computer at a time though.

The first year of maintenance is required for new purchases of Source Reliance.
The Maintenance Plan period is one year from the date of purchase, and is renewable annually at a fee of 20% of the product's list price.
