Source Reliance
Workflow Integration
Most of the data in your development organization is contained in your SCM system. Integrating Source Reliance into your other ALM systems to utilize this data is very easy, and allows you to automate your workflow processes. Using Source Reliance's command line interface you can perform many of the tasks that you can do in the Source Reliance™ Client application. Whether you need to add, delete, or retrieve content, label projects, update files, or manage Change Set information, you can do it easily with the command line interface.
For instance, you can integrate Source Reliance to your build and packaging process. With a few simple commands you can stage the build target, generate labels, and bump version numbers in your resource files. Automating the build process makes build and packaging much simpler, reduces errors, and ensures proper procedures are followed.
Integrating Source Reliance into your issue tracking system allows you to do such things as automatically create Change Sets for new issues so the engineering department does not have to manage the creation of Change Sets to record their work for those issues. This allows for consistent naming and categorization of Change Set data in accordance with your policies, and alleviates the need for manual management of the data.
Integrating Source Reliance into your workflow simplifies your workflow processes, reduces errors, and ensures best practices and your development policies are adhered to. The Source Reliance command line interface provides a simple and effective way to take advantage of your Source Reliance data.
